One More Dish, Halfway Through the Hot Pot

One More Dish, Halfway Through the Hot Pot

One more dish, chosen halfway through the hot pot.

Sukiyaki and shabu-shabu are not meals that end once your first order arrives.

As you sit around the pot and talk, you often find yourself wanting to add one more dish.
I think deciding together what to put in the pot next is one of the real pleasures of a hot pot meal.

One night, you might add Miyazaki beef sirloin.
Another night, it might not be beef at all, but oysters or snow crab.
You decide by your mood that evening, and slowly enjoy the next chapter of the same pot.

You choose how much to eat and in what order, and together you create a meal that belongs only to your table.
That is what is good about a hot pot.

At AKITEI, what we care about is not only serving beef.
It is also the time you spend saying, "Let's try this next." We want you to enjoy that, too.

For an evening around sukiyaki or shabu-shabu in Nagarekawa, Hiroshima,
we look forward to welcoming you from 5 p.m. until 9 the next morning.
